We are celebrating a very special milestone at NEST Mortgage and Financial Solutions Ltd - our wonderful Mortgage and Protection Administration Manager, Monika Bajerowicz, has officially been with us for one year!
Over the past 12 months, Monika has become an integral part of our team, bringing her incredible organisation, care, and attention to every client and every case. She embodies our company ethos of putting clients first and has helped strengthen our commitment to delivering a seamless, supportive experience from first enquiry to completion.
To mark her one-year anniversary, we sat down with Monika to ask her a few questions about her journey so far. Here’s what she had to say…
- What have you enjoyed the most during your first year with us?
One of the things I’ve really appreciated this past year is the trust and belief Ania has shown in me—it’s honestly one of the biggest reasons I’m so motivated to give it my all every day. Knowing someone’s got your back (and believes you can handle big things) makes even the busiest days feel rewarding.
I also enjoyed seeing the real impact we make—there’s nothing like the moment a first-time buyer gets their keys and you know you helped make that happen. It's been a year of learning curves, rate changes, and lots of paperwork—but also a year of growth, teamwork, and genuinely rewarding moments.
- What have you done/has happened during your first year that you didn’t expect?
What I didn’t expect? That I’d basically become a detective, and caffeine-fuelled document chaser. I’ve had dreams about interest rates and once got overly excited about a clean credit report—it’s wild how thrilling that becomes! Honestly, I thought mortgages would be dry… turns out, they come with drama, plot twists, and a lot of coffee.
- What are you looking forward to the most for the next year?
I’m really looking forward to diving deeper into the mortgage world—less ‘wait, what’s that acronym?’ and more ‘I’ve got this!’ I’m excited to help our company grow even more, be part of some exciting partnerships, and of course, enjoy some well-earned laughs (and maybe a drink or two) with the team after work. Work hard, learn lots, and have fun doing it—that’s the plan!
